MI members wishing help with self-promotion:

• Announce your upcoming booksignings, appearances –or share other good news.
  1) Use our newsletter by contacting Susi Walter, Editorial Assistant
  2) Tell everybody in our MichKids Cyber Community (you are first required to join; it's free).
• Make sure your book information is up-to-date at our website. If you are not listed, fill out the form.
• Ask for inclusion of your book jacket on our home-page "what's new" column when your book is released. Are you eligible for our "New Books" section? Let Mindy Krasner know!
• Apply for our speaker list with this application
• Read extensively at the SCBWI website, especially the article "10 Ways to Support a First Book" by Aaron Shepard
• Wear a shirt emblazoned with "My book is out! My book is out!" :-)  

Remember, books are sold one by one... and every one counts.
